I came across this "poem" some time ago and thought we might answer the poet's question for him: if it is a poem, what makes it so; if it's not, why not? And go....
Ceci n'est pas un poème
I wrote
some words
and made them look
like a poem
put line breaks
in
thought-provoking places
even gave it
a fancy French title
but it was still
just some words
and not
a poem
